Liverpool are preparing for a major attacking rebuild ahead of next season as uncertainty continues surrounding several forwards at Anfield.
Mohamed Salah’s expected departure has become one of the biggest talking points around the club, forcing Liverpool’s hierarchy to accelerate plans for a new attacking star.
Arne Slot wants more pace, directness and unpredictability in wide areas as he reshapes the frontline for the next era at Anfield.
Liverpool have monitored several young wingers across Europe over the last year. They are also looking at a Chelsea star to replace Salah.
However, one player has now emerged as a serious target after growing frustrated with his role at Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Le 10 Sport, Bradley Barcola is increasingly open to joining Liverpool this summer.
Despite producing strong numbers this season, the French winger has struggled to become an automatic starter under Luis Enrique.
Competition inside PSG’s attack has limited his opportunities in the biggest matches. And that situation has now started attracting serious attention from England.
The report claims Liverpool are now “more insistent than ever” in their attempts to sign the winger.
Barcola reportedly likes the sporting project presented by Liverpool and is attracted by the possibility of becoming a key player under Arne Slot.
The 23-year-old registered 12 goals and seven assists in 46 appearances this season for Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Luis Enrique often preferred Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desire Doue in the biggest matches.
That has reportedly frustrated Barcola, whose representatives are now exploring possible options ahead of the summer transfer window.
Liverpool previously considered a move last year before deciding to prioritise the development of Rio Ngumoha.
Now, circumstances have changed significantly following Salah’s expected exit. Reports also suggest PSG could consider offers if Barcola formally asks to leave the club.
Any transfer would likely cost more than £61 million, with the French champions still publicly insisting the winger is not for sale.
