Liverpool were contemplating making a move next summer when Guehi will become a free agent. Along with Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Real Madrid had the same plan.
However, it looks like Marc Guehi will be heading towards Etihad Stadium and Liverpool will have to look at elsewhere next summer.
