Liverpool continue rebuilding their squad after a disappointing campaign that ended with a fifth-place finish in the Premier League.
The Reds have already strengthened several positions under Andoni Iraola and remain focused on adding more attacking quality this summer.
Replacing Mohamed Salah has become one of Liverpool’s biggest priorities following his departure from Anfield.
The club have explored several options as they search for a winger capable of fitting Iraola’s attacking style. Several names have already emerged on Liverpool’s shortlist.
However, one attacker has attracted serious attention after an impressive season and strong performances at the 2026 World Cup.
According to CaughtOffside, Liverpool have made a serious move for West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville.
The report claims that the Reds hold genuine interest in the Dutch international. West Ham reportedly value Summerville at around £50 million and are not expected to let him leave cheaply.
However, some reports suggest the Championship club could eventually consider offers between £30 million and £40 million.
The report states that Summerville’s pace, direct running and ability to attack defenders make him an attractive option for Iraola.
Liverpool also view the former Leeds United winger as a realistic alternative to other wide targets. Competition for the 24-year-old is also increasing.
Fulham have reportedly joined Chelsea and Manchester United in the race. Liverpool could therefore face a battle if they decide to pursue the deal.
However, the report suggests the Reds may have an opportunity to move quickly if other clubs prioritise different targets during the remainder of the transfer window.
Liverpool are expected to continue assessing their options before making a final decision. Summerville remains firmly on the club’s radar as they search for a long-term replacement for Salah.
