Liverpool are having a fantastic summer transfer window. They were quick to get deals over the line.

The deals for Florian Wirtz, Jeremier Frimpong, and Milos Kerkez were done and dusted even before most clubs became active in the market.

That is why the Reds are quite calm as they already have the squad they wanted to defend their Premier League crown.

However, they are also looking for opportunities to sign a defender and a forward. The Reds are targeting Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace as their new centre-back.

Also, Liverpool wants to sign Alexander Isak, and this transfer saga is getting murkier as time progresses, as Newcastle United keep resisting the move.

But Alexander Isak is adamant about joining the Premier League champions. Meanwhile, Liverpool are also ready to offload players as well.

They have sold the likes of Jarell Quansah, Luis Diaz, and Darwin Nunez this summer. Apart from that, Liverpool are looking to send young players like Stefan Bajcetic on loan to get more exposure.

The Reds do have a long list of midfielders. That is why another player is eyeing a move away from the club.

Transfer News Live has already reported that Harvey Elliot has agreed on personal terms with RB Leipzig and is looking to leave to get more game time with the World Cup coming up next year.

Now, Ben Jacobs is reporting that Liverpool wants to keep Harvey Elliott at the club this season. RB Leipzig are pushing to sign the midfielder.

Liverpool will only sell Harvey Elliott reluctantly if Leipzig can match the price the Reds want. The next few days will be key for this deal.
