Pep Guardiola is looking to trim his squad and have the players who can help him bring back trophies to the Etihad.

As a result, he is ready to allow the sale of multiple players who are not in his plans, currently. Also, he has already signed replacements for those players.

For example, Ederson is linked with a move away from Manchester City. Turkish giants Galatasaray are looking to sign the Brazilian.

But Pep Guardiola has already signed James Trafford from Burnley as Ederson’s replacement. However, he is not the only player Galatasaray are targeting from Manchester City.

The Turkish giants are ready to spend big this summer as they have done with Victor Osimhen. Also, they are looking to bring in a star like Ederson as their goalkeeper.

Also, they are eyeing a star defender from Manchester City as well. Yes, as Transfer News Live reported, Galatasaray are looking to sign Manuel Akanji from Manchester City.

Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have agreed a fee with Galatasaray for the transfer of Manuel Akanji.

The Turkish giants will be paying £15 million for the Swiss centre-back. However, Galatasaray now need to convince Akanji to sign for them.

Pep Guardiola has already given the green light, as he wants to make the squad shorter. Galatasaray will be submitting their proposal to Akanji in the next hours.

So, the Manuel Akanji to Galatasaray deal could get over the line within the next hours if the Swiss international accepts personal terms from the Turkish giants.
