Manchester City have already started shaping their summer plans, and their focus has turned towards young attacking talent.

Pep Guardiola wants to refresh parts of his squad. With potential changes expected in the forward line, the club have begun tracking emerging profiles across Europe.

One name has quickly risen on their shortlist. According to Sacha Tavolieri, Manchester City are now closely monitoring the situation of Eli Junior Kroupi.

Kroupi has enjoyed a breakout campaign in the Premier League. He adapted quickly after arriving from France and has already made a strong impact in his first season.

He has scored 11 goals and shown composure beyond his years. His movement, pace and decision-making have caught the attention of several top clubs.

Guardiola is said to be impressed by the attacker’s ability on the ball and how quickly he influences games. Internally, key decision-makers at the club support the move.

There has already been contact behind the scenes. Kroupi’s agent recently held talks with Hugo Viana, who values his technical quality and ability to operate in tight spaces.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a superb debut season in England after shining with Lorient before his move. But Bournemouth do not want to sell.

They have placed a valuation of at least €80 million on Kroupi and remain firm on their stance for now. Still, the situation could change.

Manchester City have not ruled out making a move later in the window, especially if space opens up in their attack. Kroupi has also made his ambitions clear.

He said earlier this year that playing for the biggest clubs is no longer a dream but an objective. Also, Manchester City signed Antoine Semenyo in January from Bournemouth.

Therefore, the Citizens might be looking at Eli Junior Kroupi for a summer move.
