Things are not moving as quickly as everyone expected from the point of view of Manchester United.

After finishing 15th in the Premier League, Ruben Amorim called for a massive overhaul. The Portuguese boss wanted players who were ready to accept his vision for this football club.

Those who were not ready to follow his orders were included in the bomb squad that Amorim created for these players.

The likes of Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, and Jadon Sancho were included in that squad. And, all of these players are wingers, and Amorim rarely uses wingers in his system.

That is why Marcus Rashford left for Barcelona on loan. Apart from that, Garnacho is eyeing a move to Chelsea, and Antony wants to rejoin Real Betis.

But the player who is creating problems for the Red Devils is Jadon Sancho. Since joining Manchester United in 2021 from Borussia Dortmund, Sancho has never looked comfortable at Old Trafford.

As a reason, he already had loan moves to Dortmund and Chelsea. With his contract expiring, United were looking for a permanent move for the player.

But as Fabrizio Romano reported, United’s hope of getting rid of Sancho on a permanent basis was shattered by the player when he rejected the proposal of AS Roma.

The Italian side’s €20 million bid was accepted by United. But, Sancho was not ready to accept personal terms from Roma, and he also didn’t want to go to the Turkish league.

The winger is ready to wait until the last week of this window to find a suitable move, as he is not willing to lower his high wage.
