After signing Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, Manchester United are now looking to sign a striker.
Ruben Amorim is struggling to trust Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee. The duo failed him miserably last season.
As a result, Manchester United scored 44 goals but conceded 54 times. So, quite naturally, United finished 15th in the Premier League table.
Also, they will not feature in Europe next season due to their heartbreaking loss in the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
So, Ruben Amorim wants to build a squad from scratch. He has given green light to the sales of players who are not in his plans.
The likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Jadon Sancho will leave the club this summer and Marcus Rashford already joined Barcelona.
That is why United are bit short up front and Ruben Amorim wants to address that by signing a prolific goal scorer.
Manchester United wanted to sign Viktor Gyokeres who signed for Arsenal. Now, they are looking to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
However, Newcastle United are also in the race and they have an advantage over the Red Devils as they have Champions League football to offer.
That is why Manchester United are lining up a British record bid for a Real Madrid star will be a better option up front than Sesko.
According to Fichajes, Manchester United are preparing a €200 million bid for Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior.
Now, United have to convince Vinicius about signing for them. The Brazilian wants Champions League football.
Also, Real Madrid are not willing to part ways with their superstar. They are trying to convince him to sign a new deal. However, they are facing problems in renewing his contract.
So, Manchester United will have to make sure they do everything they can to convince Vinicius.
Signing the Brazilian will be one of the greatest acquisitions in the history of the Red Devils for sure.
