Paris Saint-Germain were crowned European champions in Munich last night.

In a 5-0 demolition over Inter Milan, PSG set the record for the largest margin of victory in European final history.

This marks their first ever Champions League triumph, after losing in the final to Bayern Munich back in 2020.

Not only have they been crowned Champions of Europe, but this result also sealed a first treble.

After league and cup success, this is the final piece of the jigsaw.

Winning a European Cup was seen as the holy grail for PSG ever since their Qatari takeover in 2011.

They tried multiple coaches, and even tried the Galactico method.

Despite once possessing Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the same attack, they never achieved this success.

Under manager Luis Enrique, who arrived in July 2023, their method changed.

Focusing on the team over individual stars, they found a lot more success.

With an exciting attacking approach, they have been excellent to watch for football fans.

The exciting new look was given what they deserve, with a crowning night at the Allianz Arena.

They will already be looking towards next season.

They appear to have found the next young star to join the ranks.

It is reported that PSG are looking at 17-year old midfielder Franco Mastantuono.

After 61 appearances in two seasons for River Plate, he looks to be on his way to Europe.

Tracked by several top clubs, PSG will try and get an upper hand over the rest of the continent in their quest to begin European dominance.
