Could the former Leicester City midfielder be out of his way at Stamford Bridge after just one season?

It was difficult first season at Chelsea for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

He scored 12 goal and 14 assists in 44 games for Leicester City in 2023/24 as they earned promotion back to the Premier League.

As a result of this successful campaign, he earned a move to Chelsea last summer.

Signing for £30 million, Dewsbury-Hall arrived with hopes of being a regular starter.

The move has not work out as planned to date.

In 36 appearances across all competitions in 2024/25, Dewsbury-Hall recorded five goal and four assists.

However, he made just 13 appearances in the Premier League, with a total of 258 minutes played, an average of 19.8 minutes per game.

Four of his goals came in their successful UEFA Europa Conference League campaign, a 4-1 final win over Real Betis where he recorded an assist.

Despite this, his four goals came against supposed “lesser sides” in KAA Gent, Shamrock Rovers, FC Copenhagen and Djurgården.

Whilst his other goal came against Benfica in this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup, his future is far from certain at Chelsea.

One Premier League club could be about to make a move for him with an aim of offering him regular football once again.

According to TalkSPORT, Fulham are planning to make a move to Dewsbury-Hall this summer.

No players have been signed yet by The Cottagers and no-one has left the club either, with the exception of loan deals.

Club captain Tom Cairney has extended his stay and Harrison Reed has been linked with a move to former manager Scott Parker’s Burnley.

Dewsbury-Hall has got a good CV from his time with Leicester and would provide Fulham with a great option in midfield.
