The next summer transfer window will be very important for Real Madrid. After a trophyless 2024/25 season, they wanted to change their fortunes this season.

However, after a turbulent start and parting ways with Xabi Alonso, Real Madrid are now once again bracing themselves for a tough season.

They have appointed Alvaro Arbeloa. But behind the scenes, they are dreaming of signing Jurgen Klopp as their next manager.

Also, they will be looking at defensive reinforcements. A number of Real Madrid defenders will be available as free agents next summer.

And, Tottenham Hotspur have now been offered a chance to sign one of them. The Spurs are going through a tough time.

Back-to-back losses to Manchester United and Newcastle United have put Thomas Frank on thin ice. If things don’t improve, then the Spurs might have to change their manager.

However, they are still preparing for the next summer. Their captain, Cristian Romero, could leave with both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid monitoring the Argentine.

So, they will be looking to replace the 27-year-old with a player from Real Madrid. According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham are monitoring Antonio Rudiger for a free transfer next summer.

However, the report claims that the Spurs are not the only Premier League side that has registered interest for the German international.

West Ham United and Crystal Palace have also made contact to sign the 32-year-old. Rudiger has also won the Champions League and Europa League with Chelsea.

So, he has the experience of playing in the Premier League.  Also, his representatives have made contact with his former club.

But Chelsea usually don’t sign players over 30. That is why Tottenham Hotspur will have the golden opportunity to sign an experienced and proven champion next summer.
