Real Madrid will be very active in the summer. They had a very quiet January transfer window. And the reason was that Florentino Perez doesn’t like to sign players mid-season.
Also, with Xabi Alonso leaving the club mid-season, Madrid will now have to create another plan on how they would like to approach the transfer market in the summer.
They did bring Alvaro Arbeloa to replace Alonso. However, reports are constantly linking Jurgen Klopp to the Real Madrid job in the summer.
So, the Los Blancos wanted to see how Arbeloa performs till summer and then move forward with their transfer strategy.
Now, there are certain positions the Meringues will look to improve next summer. First of all, they will be looking to sign a midfielder.
And they have multiple midfielders across Europe on their radar. However, the midfielder that Real Madrid dream of signing is Vitinha from Paris Saint-Germain.
But if they fail to sign the Portuguese, then they might look to get an Argentinian. In that case, they will have two possible options.
The Los Blancos could either go for Enzo Fernandez or Alexis Mac Allister. Now, Mac Allister is not the only Liverpool player on the radar of Real Madrid.
They are also eyeing a move for another Liverpool star, as the Spanish giants need defensive reinforcements as well.
According to Matteo Moretto, Real Madrid have reignited their interest in Ibrahima Konate. They have also initiated contact with the French international’s entourage.
Previously, ESPN’s Rodra reported that Konate is not the only player Madrid are looking at as their centre-back. They are primarily looking at the free-agent market.
Konate’s contract will expire in June. However, his ‘financial demands’ stopped Madrid from making a move previously.
But if he lowers his demands, then Madrid would reportedly be happy to sign Konate as a free agent next summer.
🚨 Ibrahima Konaté is again back as an option for Real Madrid in the summer on a free transfer.
The club recently contacted his entourage to ask about his situation and where his future lies.
