There is a quiet transformation underway at the Santiago Bernabéu.
With the departure of Luka Modric, one of the greatest midfielders of his generation, Real Madrid have begun reshaping the core of a team that once ruled Europe.
The process has been deliberate, less about splashing headlines, and more about finding the right pieces to complete the puzzle.
Names like Camavinga and Bellingham have already stepped into the spotlight.
But Madrid know that a title-winning squad needs depth, balance, and players who can quietly run the show without stealing it. That is where their latest target comes in.
A product of Bayern Munich’s academy, he has grown into a central figure in Stuttgart’s midfield over the last two seasons.
Comfortable in possession, tactically sharp, and rarely wasteful, he has caught the attention of Madrid’s scouts for some time now.
In the 2023-24 season, he played a key role in helping Stuttgart secure a 2nd-place finish in the Bundesliga. Now, he could be heading to Spain.
According to Nicolo Schira, Real Madrid have reached an agreement in principle with 24-year-old Angelo Stiller.
The German midfielder is ready to sign a deal until 2030. All that remains is for the two clubs to agree on the transfer fee.
Negotiations with Stuttgart are already underway, and talks are said to be progressing positively.
Stiller may not be the biggest name on the market, but those within the club believe he could be a crucial addition.
His ability to dictate tempo, shield the defence, and play under pressure makes him an ideal fit for the style Madrid are evolving towards.
As Real Madrid prepare for the new season and the Club World Cup, Stiller’s arrival could mark another quiet but important step in building the next great midfield dynasty at the Bernabéu.
