Since the Club World Cup, Rodrygo transfer news and rumours are spreading like wildfire.
Clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, PSG, and even Tottenham Hotspur are linked with a move for the Brazilian.
After Xabi Alonso took over from Carlo Ancelotti, there seem to be lots of changes on the cards.
The Spaniard saw the Club World Cup as a platform to understand the team he inherited from Ancelotti better.
And what happened in that semi-final game against PSG was an eye-opener for the former Bayer Leverkusen manager.
There was one thing clear after the Club World Cup, and that is Rodrygo is not in his plans.
The Brazilian made just 3 appearances and played only 92 minutes in the entire competition.
In the first game against Al-Hilal, he played 65 minutes and had an assist, which ensured a draw for the Los Blancos.
After the competition, Real Madrid made it clear that they are looking to part ways with Rodrygo. And, they are looking for a fee of around €100 million.
Since then, Liverpool, Arsenal, PSG, and now, even Tottenham, have been linked with the 24-year-old.
However, none of the contenders have placed a bid for Rodrygo so far. This is something Real Madrid did not expect.
Also, there are rumours that they are looking to sell Vinicius Junior as well because the Brazilian is not renewing his contract with Real Madrid.
With Vnicius could be on his way out as well, according to Fichajes, Real Madrid are now reconsidering their transfer stance with Rodrygo.
Also, the fact is that they are not getting the bids they expected for the Champions League winner.
That is why Rodrygo may not leave Real Madrid this summer because they want to make sure they get a good value for their star man.
Rodrygo’s contract with Madrid will expire in 2028. So, it will be interesting to see what Real Madrid does with Rodrygo and Vinicius next.
