Real Madrid are preparing for their first game of the 2025/26 La Liga season when they face Osasuna at Santiago Bernabeu.

Also, Real Madrid are working behind the scenes to get transfer deals over the line. The Los Blancos are targeting a midfielder and a defender.

After what happened in the Club World Cup against PSG, the new Madrid boss knows the importance of filling these positions with the right personnel.

They have already signed Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, and Alvaro Carreras as defensive reinforcements.

Also, they are eyeing a move for either William Saliba from Arsenal or Ibrahima Konate from Liverpool.

Apart from that, Real Madrid are linked with a move for Manchester City’s Rodri and PSG’s Vitinha, with the latter being a more viable target for the Los Blancos.

City are ready to offer a new deal to Rodri, which the Spaniard is expected to accept, and that would end Madrid’s pursuit of the player.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are also looking for outgoings as well, and the most notable name among all the players who are leaving Madrid is Rodrygo.

The Brazilian is linked with multiple European giants. The 24-year-old is not in the plans for the new manager Xabi Alonso, which is obvious after what happened in the Club World Cup.

Also, there are some doubts about the future of Vinicius Junior, who is yet to sign a new deal with Madrid. A Saudi Pro League club is ready to pay €300 million for the Brazilian sensation.

However, there is another Real Madrid star who can bring in more money, and his name is Kylian Mbappe.

According to Defensa Central, a Saudi club has offered €350 million for the French superstar. However, the new No. 10 of Real Madrid has rejected the deal along with the club.

Kylian Mbappe wants to stay in Madrid and win the major trophies for the club, as his first year in the Spanish capital went trophyless.
