Arsenal have been one of the best Premier League Sides that have taken the League by storm over the past few seasons.

Since Mikel Arteta has taken charge at the Emirates Stadium, they have transformed from a team just finishing outside of the UEFA Champions League spots to one regularly challenging for UEFA Champions League places.

When Kai Havertz swapped Chelsea for Arsenal at the beginning of the 2023 campaign, he immediately moved from UEFA Europa League football to Champions League football instead.

The players who have helped with that push up the League have become key performers and major players in the League.

Whether it is at the back with goalkeeper David Raya or upfront with Gabriel Jesus.

And that’s why we have some of the biggest clubs in the world looking at their players.

Edward Nketiah, who was used in a striker rotation role along with Gabriel Jesus, was sold to fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace in a reported £25 million deal at the start of the 2024/25 season.

But it looks like Arsenal are finally going to sign their preferred striker option.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are set to announce the signing of Viktor Gyokeres imminently.

Gyokeres, the 27 year old  striker still has his contract running at Sporting CP until 2028 but the Portugese side has decided to let him go.

The Striker will now wait to be announced as the latest Arsenal signing.

Romano states that he will be announced very soon.

When this move is official, Gyokeres will add much-needed firepower to the first team.

This will allow midfielder Mikel Merino to play in his favoured position.

This transfer also may cast doubts on the future of Gabriel Jesus with the amount of injuries he has, but they could compete with each other for the striker spot.

Arsenal fans will now be keeping an eye on their socials media and the news for the announcement of Gyokeres to Arsenal.
