Tottenham Hotspur have endured a difficult start to the Premier League season despite making significant changes during the summer.
Spurs spent nearly £400 million on 10 major additions as Roberto De Zerbi looked to overhaul his squad.
However, Tottenham collected only two points from their opening five league matches, leaving them at the bottom of the table.
Their struggles have encouraged the club to assess different positions as they continue planning ahead of the 2027 transfer windows.
Liverpool have enjoyed a more stable start under Andoni Iraola, remaining unbeaten throughout their opening five Premier League matches.
The Reds collected nine points from those fixtures following two victories and three draws during their encouraging start.
However, both clubs are already monitoring potential additions, with their attention turning towards a newly promoted Premier League club.
According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are interested in Hull City goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis following his impressive performances.
The 23-year-old joined Hull from Olympiakos during the summer in a club-record deal worth £20 million plus add-ons.
Tzolakis has already kept three Premier League clean sheets, while he also recorded another shutout for Greece against Germany.
Tottenham have watched Tzolakis more than once as they assess their long-term goalkeeping options ahead of next summer.
Spurs handed Antonin Kinsky a new contract during the summer, but some figures within the hierarchy remain unconvinced by his level.
Brighton’s Bart Verbruggen is another goalkeeper Tottenham admire as they consider potential alternatives ahead of the 2027 transfer windows.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have also been impressed by Tzolakis and continue monitoring his development, although no move is currently imminent.
Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have also admired Tzolakis since his time at Olympiakos and continue tracking his progress.
However, Hull City have no intention of making a departure easy and consider Tzolakis a major part of their plans.
