This summer window promises to be an exciting period for premier league clubs with regards to centre forwards.
It seems every top club is in desperate need of a number nine this summer, none more so than Man United
The Red Devils failed to have a striker hit double digits for goals in the Premier League this season.
With several clubs looking to upgrade in that area of the pitch, some of the world’s biggest stars have been linked to Premier League clubs
One of the names repeatedly linked is Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen plyed his trade at Galatsaray on loan from Napoli last season.
The Nigerian striker has scored 25 goals in 29 league games for the Turkish giants.
Tall, powerful and a clinical finisher, Osimhen looks to have all the capabilities to be the focal point for a number of top Premier League clubs.
Since breaking through at Lille in 2020, Osimhen has been on the radar of several Premier League clubs.
It seemed inevitable he would eventually move to the Premier League to show what he is all about, with Man United and Chelsea linked.
However, recent reports will come as a big blow to those who are eyeing his signature.
It’s been reported by MailOnline that Victor Osimhen is close to agreeing personal terms with Saudi side Al Hilal.
Osimhen will return to Napoli this summer and looks certain for a move away from Italy.
However, it appears he will follow the route of many in the past couple of years, to become a star of the Saudi Pro League.
Al Hilal, home to ex Premier League players Ruben Neves and Joao Cancelo, finished 2nd in the Saudi Pro League last season.
Man United desperately need to sign a centre forward this summer, and a lot of hopes were pinned on the club securing Osimhen’s signature.
This would be a bitter blow for United fans following another hugely disappointing season.
