This summer promises to be an exciting one for Real Madrid fans.

Following a somewhat underwhelming season domestically, Los Blancos will be striving to return to glory next season

The modern-day galacticos suffered heartbreak in the league and Copa Del Rey final to bitter rivals Barcelona.

Meanwhile, they were dumped out of the Champions League by Arsenal at the quarter final stage for the first time in almost 15 years.

It has already been a window of movement in the Spanish capital.

Club legend Alonso has re-joined the Spanish giants from Bayer Leverkusen.

Madrid have already agreed a deal to sign Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold on a free transfer this summer.

Additionally, Dean Huijsen is also on his way to Los Blancos after the club triggered the £50m release clause for the young Bournemouth defender.

And it appears Madrid may be coming back to Merseyside to tempt another Premier League superstar towards Spain.

It has been reported by Fichajes, that new Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso is determined to sign Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister.

Talks are expected to begin soon, with the Argentina international hopeful of making the move.

Following Luka Modric’s departure, Madrid will be assessing options to fill in the void left by the legendary Croatian.

Mac Allister played a fundamental role in Liverpool’s success this season, and has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League since his move to the Reds.

Real Madrid will be desperate to wrestle back the La Liga and Champions League next season.

And with Alexis Mac Allister potentially joining a stacked midfield containing the likes of Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga, it could spell trouble for the rest of Europe.
