Harry Kane has now made a decision on his potential move to Barcelona. The Blaugrana were targeting the current Bayern Munich star as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker has taken his game to the next level since joining the Bavarians.
Since joining the German champions, Kane has played 135 games so far, scoring 132 goals and providing 29 assists.
This season in all competitions, Kane has played 39 times and scored 57 goals and provided 5 assists. He is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in Europe right now.
That is why Barcelona wanted to sign the England captain next summer as they were looking for an ideal replacement for Lewandowski, who would leave Camp Nou at the end of this season.
Now, the 32-year-old striker has made up his mind about a potential move to Camp Nou as a replacement for the Polish striker.
According to El Nacional, Harry Kane has decided against joining Barcelona next summer. The England international has provided one specific reason for that.
Kane knows that Barcelona will not be able to match his current salary, which is around €30 million per year.
So, if he wants to join the Catalan giants, he might have to take a pay cut, and Harry Kane doesn’t want that.
That is why it seems Harry Kane to Barcelona will not go through, and the La Liga giants will now have to look at alternatives to replace Robert Lewandowski.
