After losing to Nottingham Forest in their last Premier League game, Tottenham Hotspur now have a decision to make.
They appointed Igor Tudor after sacking Thomas Frank with the hope of turning their season around. However, things are now becoming worse.
Tudor has earned just one point from five Premier League games. And the recent loss to Forest has put the Spurs in a relegation battle.
Now, there are reports emerging that the Spurs and Tudor might part ways with mutual consent. So, the North London club may look to appoint a new interim manager.
They will only look to appoint a permanent manager in the summer. Now, they have already started their search for a new manager, and two names are now emerging as potential candidates.
Without any doubt, the current USA manager, Mauricio Pochettino, is the leading candidate to become the next manager of Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
Also, Spurs fans have expressed their backing for the Argentine in the most unusual way. However, Pochettino will only take up the role after the 2026 World Cup.
According to The Telegraph, Sean Dyche has become a potential candidate to manage the Spurs for their last seven games if they sack Igor Tudor during the international break.
There is also another name in the fray. Former Brighton & Hove Albion and Olympique Marseille manager Roberto de Zerbi is also a candidate.
However, De Zerbi is not interested in becoming the interim manager or starting his job at this time of the season. The Italian wants to start next season.
So, it seems if the Spurs sack Tudor, then Sean Dyche may become their next manager to take them till the end of the season and save them from relegation.
