Tottenham Hotspur signs new manager

Breaking News - Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur have signed their new manager, who they believe could save their season. The Spurs are in a relegation battle.

However, the season was not supposed to be like this for the Spurs. They had high hopes after winning the Europa League last season.

But they sacked Ange Postecoglou to appoint Thomas Frank because of their position in the Premier League.

The Danish manager started well. However, due to injuries and a poor run in the Premier League, Frank lost his job.

So, the Spurs decided to appoint an interim manager. They initially planned to appoint a permanent manager in the summer.

That is why they brought Igor Tudor to the club. However, things turned out to be a nightmare for the former Juventus boss.

The players failed to adapt to his system. And that is why, after a winless period of 44 days, both the Spurs and Tudor parted ways with mutual agreement. Now, they have appointed a new manager.

Tottenham Hotspur have signed Roberto De Zerbi as their new manager. They have now moved on from their strategy of appointing an interim.

The Spurs have given De Zerbi a five-year deal. This will ensure stability at the club even beyond this season.

The Italian’s first test will be against Sunderland away from home when the Premier League begins after the international break.
