Chelsea have now opened the exit door for Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentine joined the Blues last summer from Manchester United in a £40 million deal.
So far, his career at Stamford Bridge has not taken off. In over 35 games, the 21-year-old has made just 12 goal contributions.
That is why the Blues are now open to selling the Argentine. Now, there is another player who could leave Stamford Bridge.
Recently, Chelsea have banned Enzo Fernandez for two games after controversial comments. So, this means the midfielder will not play against Manchester City.
With Real Madrid showing interest, Fernandez could also be heading towards the exit door after the current row.
Even Transfer News Live reported that the Argentine is preparing to submit a transfer request to the Blues. However, there is still a chance that Chelsea might offer him a new deal.
But for Garnacho, this will not be the case as the Blues are now ready to sell him. Now, the club hierarchy is quite optimistic.
Still, they know the potential of the player. That is why they are unwilling to let him go on a permanent deal. Chelsea would ideally send him on loan next summer.
And now, a surprise club have shown interest in signing Alejandro Garnacho on loan next summer.
According to TyC Sports journalist Gonzalo Carol (via Sport Witness), Argentine club River Plate have made contact with the representatives of Garnacho for a loan move.
Now, the Blues are open to letting Garnacho leave on loan for a season just to get more playing time and confidence back.
Chelsea are also ready to cover his entire wage if he joins River Plate. So, it seems Garnacho could end up playing on loan for a different club next season.
