A Championship star has made headlines for a major development away from football. The midfielder is preparing for a big change in his personal life.
However, the news has quickly caught attention for another reason. It involves a close connection within the club, as the woman is his manager’s daughter.
Oliver Arblaster is expecting a child with his manager Chris Wilder’s daughter. And while the news has surprised many, it marks a major moment in the young midfielder’s life.
Meanwhile, Arblaster has played an important role this season. He has helped Sheffield United move away from relegation trouble.
At the same time, his campaign did not start smoothly. Injury kept him out during the early months.
Since returning, he has made 18 appearances. His contributions have helped steady the team after a difficult start.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United had gone through major changes. Ruben Selles was dismissed earlier in the season. Chris Wilder then returned to take charge. He helped guide the team away from danger.
But now, attention has shifted away from results on the pitch. The big news came through social media. Martha Elizabeth Wilder shared a series of photos on Instagram.
The post included images of her baby bump, ultrasound scans and moments with Arblaster. The caption simply read “+1”. That confirmed the couple are expecting a child.
Meanwhile, Arblaster’s mother appeared to reveal more in the comments. She wrote:
“He will be the most loved gorgeous boy. I can’t wait to be his Nannie.”
Team-mates Femi Seriki and Louie Marsh also congratulated the pair. At the same time, Arblaster continues to focus on football. He was on the bench in the recent 2-1 win over Hull.
