Premier League stadium set to become Golf course in the summer

A Premier League stadium is set for a surprising transformation this summer. Fans will soon experience something completely different inside one of England’s newest grounds.

However, this is not a permanent change. It is part of a special event planned during pre-season.

Meanwhile, the club have decided to open their doors to supporters in a unique way. Instead of football, the focus will shift to golf.

At the same time, the event promises more than just sport. It will combine entertainment, food and live coverage.

The experience at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium will run for four days in July. Visitors will be able to take part from July 16 to 19.

According to Everton’s official statement, the stadium will host an interactive golf event. Tee boxes will be placed high in the stands. Custom greens will be set up on the pitch below. The statement added:

“Upper Deck Golf is set to take over the stadium… transforming it into an interactive golf experience.”

Meanwhile, this marks a historic moment. It will be the first time the concept has been hosted outside North America.

Participants will be able to hit approach shots from different areas of the ground.

At the same time, a festival-style atmosphere will be created. Music, food and drinks will be available throughout the event.

Fans will also be able to watch live coverage of The Open Championship. The tournament will take place nearby at Royal Birkdale.

Meanwhile, the stadium itself represents a new era for the club. Everton moved there this season after leaving Goodison Park after 132 years.

The switch has had a positive impact. The Toffees currently sit eighth in the Premier League table.

Transfer News Live reported earlier that Everton are also planning a major overhaul of the stadium.
