World Cup predictor with remarkable track record predicts winner of 2026 edition

World Cup predictor believes another major surprise could be on the horizon.

The 2026 World Cup is already generating huge debate despite the tournament still being weeks away.

France, Spain, Argentina, England, and Brazil are all considered among the strongest contenders heading into the competition.

Meanwhile, Portugal, Germany, and the Netherlands are viewed by many as dangerous outsiders capable of making a deep run.

However, one famous World Cup predictor believes another major surprise could be on the horizon.

The prediction has attracted attention because of the individual’s impressive track record in previous tournaments.

Over the years, Michael Bruno has correctly predicted several World Cup winners before the competition even started.

The Brazilian psychic famously predicted Spain’s triumph in 2010 before later backing Germany in 2014 and France in 2018. Interestingly, he also predicted France to win the 2022 World Cup.

However, Lionel Messi’s Argentina eventually defeated the French side on penalties in one of the most dramatic finals in football history.

Now, the psychic believes another European nation will finally claim its first World Cup title this summer.

According to Globo Esporte, Brazilian World Cup predictor Michael Bruno believes Portugal will win the 2026 edition. Bruno said:

“Since 2022, I’ve been announcing the next champion team. Since then, I’ve been stating that Portugal will be the world champion.”

Portugal head into the tournament with major expectations once again. Roberto Martinez still possesses one of the deepest squads in international football.

Also, Cristiano Ronaldo could be preparing for his final appearance in the quadrennial.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner will undoubtedly be desperate to replicate Lionel Messi’s achievement in Qatar four years ago by finally lifting football’s biggest trophy.

Portugal will begin their campaign against DR Congo on June 17 before later facing Uzbekistan and Colombia during the group stage.
