Michael Olise enjoyed a sensational campaign with Bayern Munich last season.
The French winger established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s standout performers after producing outstanding numbers across all competitions.
His impressive form has also continued on the international stage. He has become one of France’s brightest performers at the World Cup.
Bayern Munich also returned to the summit of German football during a memorable campaign.
Vincent Kompany guided the Bavarians to another Bundesliga title. The club also completed a domestic double after lifting the DFB-Pokal.
Following that success, Bayern entered the summer determined to keep the core of their squad together. At the same time, Olise’s performances have attracted attention across Europe.
Several top clubs have started monitoring his situation as speculation surrounding his long-term future continues to grow.
According to AS, Olise has already informed Bayern Munich that he wants to hold talks with the club after the World Cup.
The report states that the 24-year-old wants to understand how Bayern view his future before making any decision on the next step in his career.
The report adds that Michael Olise and his representatives plan to sit down after the tournament to assess every option following his rapid rise over the past few months.
His development has exceeded expectations, and the winger now wants to evaluate his position before committing to any decision. Bayern will be the first club to hear Olise’s plans.
However, the report claims the German champions have started to realise that several outcomes remain possible despite their confidence over his contract situation.
Club officials reportedly believe the agreement he signed two years ago no longer reflects his current status after his remarkable progress.
Real Madrid remain one of the clubs keeping a close watch on the situation. Paris Saint-Germain and several Premier League clubs are also monitoring developments.
