Tottenham Hotspur have transformed their squad during the opening weeks of the summer transfer window after surviving a difficult 2025–26 campaign.
Roberto De Zerbi has wasted no time reshaping his team as Spurs prepare for a fresh start. The North London club have already strengthened several positions.
Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dúbravka have joined on free transfers, while Jan Paul van Hecke arrived from Brighton.
Tottenham also reached an agreement to sign Mateus Fernandes from West Ham and did the same with Newcastle United for midfielder Sandro Tonali.
Those additions would leave De Zerbi with a refreshed defence and midfield. As a result, attention has now turned towards strengthening the attack before the new season begins.
According to Harry Hotspur, Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to open serious talks with West Ham United for Crysencio Summerville once the Hammers complete the departure of Mateus Fernandes.
The report adds that Spurs value the winger at around £50 million and see him as the next priority in the transfer window.
De Zerbi reportedly admires Summerville because his direct dribbling and work rate suit the system he wants to implement.
The Dutch winger would also provide competition on the left flank alongside Mathys Tel.
With Fernandes already secured and negotiations for Tonali continuing, Tottenham remain one of the busiest clubs in the market.
The latest reports suggest Spurs are now preparing another ambitious move as De Zerbi continues rebuilding his squad ahead of the 2026–27 campaign.
