The 2026 FIFA World Cup continues to gather momentum as the knockout stages get underway across North America.
England have enjoyed an unbeaten campaign under Thomas Tuchel so far. They finished at the top of Group L.
Also, Harry Kane’s brace secured a 2-1 comeback victory over the Democratic Republic of Congo in the Round of 32. Now, the Three Lions will face tournament co-hosts Mexico in the last 16.
While the senior side prepare for that huge test, England have also turned their attention to the country’s next generation by naming the latest squad for another World Cup.
Lydia Bedford has selected a 24-player squad for England’s upcoming preparation camp. The goalkeepers are Katie Cox, Kaiya Jota, and Sophia Poor.
The defensive unit includes Ria Bose, Rachel Maltby, Grace McEwen, Lucy Newell, Chloe Paxton, Chloe Sarwie, and Cecily Wellesley-Smith.
The midfield options are Lola Brown, May Cruft, Laila Harbert, Chloe Hylton, Vera Jones and Lexi Potter.
Bedford has also called up Princess Ademiluyi, Lily Dent, Denny Draper, Layla Drury, Jessie Gale, Eva Hendle, Eleanor Klinger, and Vivienne Lia in attack.
England will travel to the United States Soccer National Training Centre near Atlanta for the latest camp.
They will face the United States on July 9 before taking on Colombia on July 15. Both opponents have also qualified for the World Cup.
The camp is the third of four scheduled this summer as England continue preparing for their first appearance at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup since 2018.
England have been drawn in Group B for September’s tournament in Poland alongside Brazil, Tanzania and Canada.
Bedford’s side will begin their campaign against Canada on September 5 in Bielsko-Biała as preparations for the competition continue.
