Last season was one to forget for Hoffenheim, as they finished only one place above the relegation play-off spot.

Back in January, it was confirmed that star man Tom Bischof was to join Bayern Munich in the summer.

So, before the window had even began, they were already weaker than they were in a disappointing season.

They have moved fast to bring players in, adding the likes of Leon Avdullahu and Wouter Burger.

Now, it appears as if they are on the verge of their newest signing.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Vladimir Coufal is set to sign for the Bundesliga side.

As per his report, the player is already in Germany for medical tests and contract signing.

Not too long ago Coufal had been linked with a move to Wolves.

However, it seems after five years, his time in the English Premier League is now over.

During his time in East London, the right-back made 180 appearances, and was a solid servant throughout.

With the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka last summer, he saw his game time become much more limited last season before his departure as a free agent.

You can be confident that every West Ham fan wishes him well on his new adventure in the Bundesliga.
