It has been a turbulent summer transfer window for AFC Bournemouth so far.
They have seen Milos Kerkez, Ilias Zabarynyi, and Dean Huijsen – 75% of their defence – all depart the club.
Those players went to Liverpool, PSG and Real Madrid, which shows the calibre of player they lost.
Furthermore, Kepa did not return after his loan, whilst other goalkeepers Neto and Mark Travers also left.
Later on, Dango Ouattara joined Brentford.
However, they have also been busy with incomings.
Adrien Truffert, Dorde Petrovic and Ben Doak have all joined the club, replacing Kerkez, Kepa and Ouattara.
Now, it seems as if another body is set to come through the door.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth are set to sign Amine Adli from Bayer Leverkusen.
He reports that they will be paying a 29 million Euros package for the Moroccan attacker.
The 25-year old played his part in Leverkusen’s famous domestic double in 23/24.
Despite losing some big names, you can be confident that Bournemouth won’t be in any danger this season.
With exciting players like Adli through the door, and Andoni Iraola at the helm, you feel like they will be able to have another good season.
If they lost Iraola to another club, that may be the time to start panicking. But for now, they should be fine.
