Antoine Grizemann will go down as one of the great French players of his generation.

With 287 goals and 128 assists in 761 games, along with FIFA World Cup and UEFA Europa League winners medals, Griezmann has had quite the career.

Earlier this season, Griezmann recorded his 200th goal for Atlético Madrid, a club he has had the best spells of his career at.

Griezmann has also twice been third place in the Ballon d’Or voting (2016,2018) and was handed the La Liga Best Player award in 2015.

2016 was arguably his best season.

He was named the UEFA European Championship player of the tournament as well as winning the Golden Boot.

With 27 goals in 56 UEFA Champions League games for Diego Simeone’s side, he has helped guide the team to two final appearances where they came up short to Real Madrid on both occasions.

Due to the career he has had, Griezmann has become one of the most recognisable player in Europe.

As a result of this, he will have plenty of people across the world mistaking others for him.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is currently ranked as the third best current men’s tennis player in the world.

He has been somewhat given an unfortunate task of being in the same era as Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, two players who have defined the past three years of tennis following the end of the “big four” era featuring Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.

Yesterday, he put a post out on X about being mistaken for Griezmann in Chicago.
