Liverpool’s Wikipedia page has been altered and it’s absolutely hilarious

The team’s performance does justify that.

Liverpool are having a horrible run after a promising start to their Premier League title defence. In their first 5 games of the season, the Reds won all of them.

After that, they travelled to South London to face Crystal Palace, and things started going in that direction for the Reds.

Eddie Nketiah scored a 97th-minute winner at Selhurst Park, and Liverpool registered their first loss of the Premier League season.

But that was not the first loss for Arne Slot in all competitions. The season started with the Community Shield fixture, which usually happens every year.

Last year’s Premier League champions Liverpool were  up against last year’s FA Cup winners Crystal Palace.

In that game, Palace defeated the Reds on penalties to win their first-ever Community Shield title.

Also, in the last game of Liverpool’s Premier League title-winning campaign last year, the Reds failed to defeat Crystal Palace at home.

Recently, the Reds faced Palace in the Carabao Cup clash at Anfield, and they lost that game again. It seems like Crystal Palace have become a thorn in Liverpool’s side.

So, someone thought about pranking the Reds fans and went on to alter the Wikipedia page of Liverpool.

He edited the name of Liverpool’s owner and wrote Crystal Palace in that place. In reality, the owner of the Liverpool Football Club is Fenway Sports Group or popularly known as the FSG.

They have invested close to £450 million this summer and earned close to £200 million in player sales. So, their net spend is around £250 million.

But the team’s performance does not justify that amount. Arne Slot is under pressure as Liverpool are reportedly eyeing his replacement.

So, the Reds need to improve their performance. Or else, they will get trolled online in this way.
