Breaking News - Tottenham Hotspur

After a string of poor results, Tottenham Hotspur have finally pulled the plug. They have sacked Thomas Frank with immediate effect.

Last night, the Spurs hosted Newcastle United in the Premier League. In their previous game, they lost to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Now, against Newcastle, the Spurs board were hoping that Thomas Frank would be able to get the team back on track.

Recent reports even suggested that the board is ready to back him because of his success in the Champions League.

However, with his team struggling to win domestic games, they had to pull the plug and sack the Danish manager.

Tottenham appointed Thomas Frank after his impressive job with Brentford. He took the Bees from the Championship to the Premier League and made them a regular in the English top-flight division.

He joined Brentford as an assistant manager under Dean Smith in 2016. Two years later, he became the head coach. Frank left the club in 2025 to take over the role of Tottenham manager.

The Spurs sacked Ange Postecoglou after winning the Europa League, which was the first trophy for the north London club after more than a decade.

However, Daniel Levy decided that finishing 17th in the Premier League is unacceptable. That is why he decided to sack the Australian. After that, Daniel Levy left the club as well.

Now, after starting the season brightly, Tottenham’s downfall under Thomas Frank was huge. They were in the top 4 initially and even beat Manchester City at the Etihad.

But they are finding it hard to win domestic matches now. So, they had to make that tough call. Now, the focus will be on finding a replacement, with a few names already getting traction.
