AI predicts the winner of the next nine World Cups

The 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup will take place in the USA, Mexico, and Canada. It will be the biggest World Cup ever with 48 countries participating in the quadrennial event.

Argentina will be defending champions, as they won the 2022 edition in Qatar by defeating France on penalties. It was perhaps the best World Cup final in history because of the drama involved.

Now, the 2026 edition will have 104 matches in the entire tournament. The 2030 edition of the tournament will take place in Spain, Portugal and Morocco.

Also, some games will be played in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay, as the tournament will mark the 100th anniversary of the World Cup.

Now, Perplexity AI has predicted the winners of the next nine World Cup events, including the one that will start in June this year.

As per the prediction, England would win back-to-back World Cups in 2054 and 2058. So far, England’s solitary victory came in the 1966 event when they were the host country.

For the 2050 event, the AI has predicted that Mexico will be the champions. Now, the AI has predicted Argentina to win two of the next nine World Cups, including the 2026 event.

Also, Perplexity predicted that La Albiceleste would win the 2046 event. Surprisingly, Morocco are tipped to win the 2030 event in which they will be the joint hosts.

Brazil could win the 2034 event, which will be their sixth World Cup title. Furthermore, Spain could replicate their success of 2010 in 2038.

And, finally, the Netherlands could finally lift the World Cup in 2042 after featuring in the finals of the 1974, 1978, and 2010 events. So, whether AI can predict correctly, only time will tell.
