The impact of Harry Kane in Germany has been impossible to ignore. Kane signed for Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023 for £104 million.
The England captain’s contract runs until 2027, but talks have now begun about extending that deal for several more years.
So, the Bavarians are already looking ahead. The club want to ensure their star striker remains at the Allianz Arena well beyond his current agreement.
His performances have left little doubt inside the club. The 32-year-old has scored an astonishing 130 goals in just 133 appearances for Bayern.
This season, he once again leads the Bundesliga scoring charts with 30 goals. Those numbers explain why Bayern are ready to reward him.
According to BILD, the German champions are prepared to increase Kane’s £400,000-a-week salary.
The striker already sits as the highest-paid player in the Bundesliga, and a new agreement would further underline his importance to the team.
Kane recently had the option to activate a release clause in his contract. That clause expired at the end of January after he chose not to trigger it.
Off the pitch, the striker’s financial profile has continued to grow. Documents show that his HK28 Limited image rights company held £11,428,513 in equity at the end of 2024.
During the same period, his investment portfolio increased significantly, rising from £2.8 million in 2023 to £5.1 million. Kane has also expanded his commercial partnerships in Germany.
The England captain works with 3Bears Foods GmbH and has appeared in advertisements promoting the company’s porridge products.
Also, Harry Kane holds £2.2 million in cash alongside property investments valued at around £15 million in 2024. His original Bayern contract guaranteed him at least £86 million.
Now, after becoming the club’s most reliable source of goals, Harry Kane could soon secure an even more lucrative deal in Munich.
So, this will be a huge blow for Tottenham as they were plotting a secret plan to bring Kane back to North London.
