UCL Today has gained popularity in recent years. Fans love to watch the show featuring Kate Scot (host), Micah Richards, Jamie Carragher, and Thierry Henry.

They had some unforgettable and hilarious moments while discussing the French side Brest in the last season of the Champions League.

In the latest edition of the show, host Kate Scott revealed that Micah Richards has left the CBS group chat. And this revelation shocked everyone.

After that, Micah Richards lifted the lid on why he walked out of the CBS Sports group chat, offering a blunt explanation during Tuesday night’s Champions League coverage.

The crew joined to break down a night of big results. Chelsea stunned Barcelona 3–0, while Bayer Leverkusen and Marseille beat Manchester City and Newcastle.

While discussing the games, Scott revealed that Richards had left the group chat, prompting Carragher to press him for an answer.

Richards did not hold back, saying the chat was dull. He said:

“I was in too many groups, and there was all sorts of nonsense in there. It was boring me.”

Carragher fired back with a joke, “So, your friends bore you?” Richards laughed and replied, “Well, I would not call you friends… associates.”

Carragher then hinted that Richards “lost his head” around May or June, likely referring to Liverpool’s Premier League title win under Arne Slot last season.

The banter continued as Scott wondered what exactly pushed Richards over the edge.

Richards may have left the CBS Sports group chat behind, but the studio jokes will keep coming whenever he sits alongside Scott, Henry, and Carragher.
