Cristiano Ronaldo scored an acrobatic goal in Al-Nassr’s 4-1 victory over Al-Khaleej. The Portuguese legend’s team is unbeaten in the Saudi Pro League.
This is one title that has eluded Ronaldo since his historic move to the Middle East. CR7 has won the Golden Boot in Saudi Arabia but not the league.
Now, whatever Cristiano Ronaldo does on or off the pitch becomes a headline. Recently, the 40-year-old has chosen the place where he wants to marry his fiancée.
Cristiano Ronaldo has settled on a stunning and deeply personal location for his upcoming wedding to Georgina Rodriguez.
The couple, who announced their engagement in August after nine years together, will tie the knot next summer once the World Cup concludes.
According to Jornal da Madeira, the 40-year-old has chosen his home island as the place where he will finally say “I do”.
The ceremony will take place inside the historic cathedral of Funchal, the oldest church in Madeira, and a landmark that dates back to 1514.
Its carved cedar-wood roof and central position in the city make it one of the most important religious sites in the region.
For Ronaldo, the choice carries emotional meaning. The cathedral sits less than two miles from the hospital where he was born.
His childhood club, Nacional da Madeira, is also only a short distance away, making the venue a symbolic return to where his journey began.
The reception will follow at a luxury hotel on the island. Ronaldo and Georgina first met in 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid.
Today they share two daughters, Alana and Bella, as well as raising Ronaldo’s three eldest children together as one family.
The football icon has openly said his children encouraged him to propose at last. The pair is expected to exchange wedding vows next year.
