Tottenham Hotspur are in a precarious situation this season. After winning the Europa League last season, they were expecting to challenge for major trophies this season.
However, things are turning out to be a nightmare for them. Before the start of the season, Tottenham did something unthinkable.
The Spurs sacked Ange Postecoglou, the man who brought a European trophy to the club after 41 years. Tottenham finished 17th in the Premier League, and due to that, Postecoglou had to leave.
So, they appointed Thomas Frank as his successor, and things started well for the Spurs. The Danish manager even beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium at the start of the season.
Soon, an injury crisis struck the north London club, and because of that, it was difficult for Frank to get results. So, after a string of bad results, the Dane was shown the exit door.
And, Igor Tudor walked in, and after managing just six games, the Croatian was also on the verge of walking out the same door.
However, the Spurs board have started to feel hopeful again, especially after the last two games.
Tudor went to Anfield against Liverpool and brought a point back to north London, which very few expected.
Also, even though they lost the tie, the Spurs won against Atletico Madrid at home, giving Igor Tudor the first taste of victory as the manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
Now, the Spurs board have made a decision on his future. Many expected the Spurs to sack Tudor because they were knocked out of the Champions League.
However, according to X account The Touchline, Tottenham Hotspur are now ready to continue with Igor Tudor as their manager until the end of the season.
The Spurs board are hopeful that Igor Tudor can prevent the catastrophic relegation for the Spurs. They will appoint a permanent boss only in the summer.
