Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed another senior departure as Roberto De Zerbi continues rebuilding the squad ahead of next season.
Spurs already started major changes across the squad after narrowly avoiding relegation on the final day of the Premier League campaign.
The North London side have moved aggressively in the transfer market since appointing De Zerbi.
Tottenham already secured Andy Robertson on a free transfer, while Marcos Senesi is also expected to arrive shortly.
Meanwhile, Jan Paul van Hecke and Savinho remain among the club’s leading targets this summer. However, Tottenham are also overseeing several exits as they reshape the squad.
The club officially confirmed the departure of a £30M signing through their retained list announcement this week.
Yves Bissouma will leave the club following the expiry of his contract. Tottenham posted on XL
“We can confirm the departure of Yves Bissouma following the conclusion of his contract.
“Thank you for your service and all the best for the future, Biss.”
The Mali international joined Spurs from Brighton during the summer of 2022 in a £30M transfer.
Bissouma later made 111 appearances across all competitions for Tottenham during his time at the club. However, injuries heavily disrupted the midfielder throughout last season.
Knee and ankle problems ruled him out during the entire first half of the campaign. Bissouma finally returned on January 17 during Tottenham’s defeat against West Ham United.
The midfielder later featured only 11 times during the remainder of the season. Tottenham also left him unused on the bench during the club’s final three Premier League matches.
Alongside Bissouma, Tottenham also confirmed multiple academy departures ahead of the new campaign.
Tottenham now face a crucial transfer window as De Zerbi attempts to build a squad capable of climbing back towards the top half of the Premier League.
