Newcastle United are having a very bad time in the transfer window. The Magpies were on the verge of sealing the signing of Benjamin Sesko.

RB Leipzig accepted their bid of €90 million for the striker. However, the 22-year-old had a different destination in his mind.

Benjamin Sesko wants to play for Manchester United, and he has already agreed a 5-year contract with the Red Devils.

As a result, Newcastle United are dropping out of the race to sign the Slovenian. However, Sesko is not the only player the Magpies are targeting.

Eddie Howe and his team are looking to do everything they can to salvage this transfer window.

If Alexander Isak leaves for Liverpool this summer, things could get from bad to worse for the Magpies.

They will be playing in the Champions League. So, Eddie Howe is looking to build a squad that can be competitive in Europe’s elite competition.

That is why they are desperate to find a replacement for Isak even before he leaves for Liverpool.

Goncalo Ramos from PSG and Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa are the next two options Eddie Howe has on this target list.

Apart from the striker, Eddie Howe also wants to sign a forward who can play wide. He already has Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes to play from the Left. Anthony Elanga can play from both sides.

So, Howe wants a right winger, and that is why Newcastle United are eyeing a move for Kang Lee-in from PSG.

However, according to Fichajes, AC Milan are also eyeing a move for the same player. With the record Newcastle have in transfer races, this could become a worry for the Magpies.

They need to act early if they want to seal the deal for Kang Lee-in. The South Korean will be ready to move as he is having limited game time under Luis Enrique.
