AC Milan reappointed Massimiliano Allegri as their manager. After a disappointing season last year, Milan decided to part ways with Sergio Conceicao.
Allegri did win the Scudetto for the Rossoneri in his first stint as their manager. Now, he wants to bring the glory back to Milan once again.
AC Milan will not feature in any European competition this season. For a club like Milan, it is unacceptable. Allegri wants to change that.
For that, he needs to bring in the right players. Milan has already signed Luka Modric as a free agent. Now, he wants to sign a star forward after letting Alvaro Morata leave for Como.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the player Allegri wants to sign is Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea. The French international wants to leave the Premier League side.
Since moving to Chelsea from RB Leipzig, Nkunku has struggled to establish himself as a first-choice forward.
This season, Enzo Maresca has signed many new forwards. That is why players like Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku are looking to leave the club.
Multiple clubs across Europe showed interest in Nkunku. However, Chelsea didn’t receive any suitable offer for the player.
Now, AC Milan have made a contract with Chelsea to sign Christopher Nkunku, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian giants are serious about bringing him to San Siro. Personal terms will not be an issue for Nkunku.
Milan are now discussing a permanent deal for the forward as they are ready to pay €30 million to Chelsea.
So, the Christopher Nkunku to AC Milan deal is progressing very fast.
