When Thiago Motta was sacked as Juventus manager in March, the club sat in fifth place in the Serie A table.

Motta was let go after suffering back-to-back defeats in the league.

It took until January 25th for Juventus to lose their first Serie A game of the season.

However, they suffered a 4-0 home defeat to Atalanta and 3-0 loss away to Fiorentina in March.

With the club already out of the Champions League, this signalled the end for Motta as Juventus manager.

Former Croatia international Igor Tudor was brought in as Motta’s replacement and oversaw just one defeat.

He guided them to back-to-back wins to end the campaign.

Tudor has already been busy during his first transfer window as Juventus manager, with plenty of incomings and outgoings.

Jakub Vinarcik, Tarik Muharemovic, Luca Pellegrini, Nicolò Fagioli, Hans Nicolussi, Nicolò Rovella and Nikola Sekulov have all departed this summer.

They combined for over €40 million in player sales.

Michele Di Gregorio and Lloyd Kelly both made their loan moves permanent, arriving for €14.3 million and €17.2 million respectively.

They also made one other loan move permanent, and this player could be straight on the move.

Juventus open to selling €28.1m attacker

It has been reported that Juventus are already open to selling winger Nicolás González.

González, who has played 43 times for the Argentina national team, made 23 starts for the Turin side in Serie A whilst on loan from Fiorentina last season.

Only ten players recorded more league minutes than González in 2024/25.

Last month, the Old Lady made the loan move of González permanent, signing him for €28.1 million.

Fellow Serie A Lazio are said to be interested in the Argentine’s services and it appears Juventus could already be looking to move him on.
