Juventus are continuing their extensive summer rebuild as Luciano Spalletti looks to strengthen his squad before the transfer window closes.
The Italian giants have already reinforced several positions, with Pape Matar Sarr among their latest additions after arriving from Tottenham Hotspur.
Jhon Lucumi has strengthened the defence, while Guglielmo Vicario joined on loan to add another option in goal.
Juventus have also reshaped their attack following several significant departures during the summer.
Randal Kolo Muani completed a permanent move from Paris Saint-Germain, while Dusan Vlahovic departed for Besiktas.
Jonathan David has also left on loan for Atletico Madrid, creating further room for another forward to arrive in Turin.
That vacancy has led Juventus back towards the Premier League as they work on another late attacking deal.
According to The Times, Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee is closing in on a loan move to Juventus. The 25-year-old is hopeful of completing a 12-month agreement with the Serie A club.
Zirkzee has been an unused substitute in Manchester United’s opening two Premier League matches this season.
Michael Carrick’s side began their campaign with a 2-0 defeat against newly-promoted Hull City.
United responded with a 5-2 victory over Ipswich Town at Old Trafford, but Zirkzee again remained unused.
The Red Devils have already made major changes to their squad during Carrick’s first summer in permanent charge.
Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans and Carlos Baleba arrived as part of a substantial midfield rebuild.
United also sanctioned several departures, including Rasmus Hojlund’s £43 million move to Napoli.
Zirkzee has attracted interest from Juventus throughout the closing stages of the window as United continue trimming their squad.
A move would give Juventus another attacking option following their busy summer restructuring under Spalletti.
The proposed 12-month loan is now moving closer, with Zirkzee hoping to complete his switch to Turin.
