Manchester United are going through a turbulent phase. It seemed that Ruben Amorim would bring some stability.
However, things are starting to disintegrate at Old Trafford after the Manchester United decided to sack Ruben Amorim.
After his explosive press conference, his departure was just a matter of time. Now, they are looking to appoint a caretaker manager to take them through till next season.
Meanwhile, one of their key players is attracting interest from Serie A giants Juventus. Now, they have a very tough decision on their hands.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have reignited their interest in Noussair Mazraoui, just months after first placing him on their shortlist.
The Serie A giants are keen to strengthen their full-back department and believe the Manchester United man fits the profile they are targeting.
Mazraoui only arrived at Manchester United in 2024, joining from Bayern Munich in a deal worth £12.8 million.
So far this campaign, the Moroccan has managed limited minutes, making just nine appearances, six of them starts.
Moreover, his involvement has been disrupted further by international duty, with the defender currently away at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Juventus are looking to weigh up several options. Former Arsenal prospect Brooke Norton-Cuffy and Bayern Munich right-back Sacha Boey are also on their list.
It means Mazraoui is not the only name on their radar. However, his experience at elite level continues to appeal to the Italian side.
From United’s perspective, they have not made up their mind. Mazraoui remains under contract until 2028, with the club holding an option to extend by a further year.
Meanwhile, Mazraoui is not the only United player attracting interest from Italy. Joshua Zirkzee is also attracting interest from Serie A.
For now, Juventus are watching closely. What United decide next could shape another quiet but significant transfer storyline.
