This comes following the major blow that Liam Delap is set to choose Chelsea as his preferred destination.With the jury being out with Hojlund and Zirkzee, it’s vital United sign a new striker this summer.
Both forwards are physical target men, who can bully defenders and have an eye for goals.
Randal Kolo Muani spent the second half of the season on loan at Juventus, and his future is very much up in the air.
Meanwhile Jean-Phillipe Mateta has had another superb season for Crystal Palace, helping fire the Eagles to their first major trophy.
Ruben Amorim will be targeting the Cunha deal as a form of inspiration that United’s forward line can be repaired going into the new season.
United will be hoping their French connections will fire them back to the top.
