Chelsea are back in the spotlight this summer, but not just for signing players.

They are now pushing hard to sell several names from their squad, and one of them has just been offered to a Serie A giant.

The Blues do not want to repeat the loan mistakes of last season.

Raheem Sterling, for instance, went to Arsenal on loan, but that short-term move did not help anyone. This time, Chelsea want permanent solutions.

Another example is Joao Félix. After a poor loan spell at AC Milan, the club is looking to move him out for good.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Benfica are now going all in to bring the Portuguese forward back home.

But it is the case of Raheem Sterling that could turn heads.

Chelsea have reportedly offered the England winger to Napoli, and the Italian side is now checking the conditions of a possible deal.

This update came directly from Fabrizio Romano, who shared the news on his YouTube channel.

The idea of Sterling playing in Serie A might have seemed unlikely a few months ago.

But now, with Chelsea open to selling and Napoli needing reinforcements, the move suddenly feels possible.

Napoli are yet to decide. However, the door is open, and the Premier League veteran may just walk through it if the deal works out for everyone.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s transfer work continues on the incoming side.

They have a strong interest in Jorrel Hato from Ajax and Xavi Simons of RB Leipzig.

But their main dream remains Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa.

Before any of those names arrive, though, Chelsea need space. A sale like Sterling’s could help make room and raise funds. Now, it is up to Napoli to act.

Serie A might suit Raheem Sterling as well. And, he could bring his career back on track just like Scott McTominay did after joining Napoli from Manchester United.
