Bayern Munich were back to normal in the 2024/25 season.

They made sure that their absence from domestic success only lasted a year, securing their 33 Bundesliga title.

However, they fell short in the UEFA Champions League, losing 4-3 on aggregate to Inter Milan at the quarter final stage.

Failure to progress further in the Champions League this season would put some pressure on Bayern manager Vincent Kompany.

Bayern’s priority is often European success, and certainly would feel this way for their fanbase these days with Bundesliga titles often a formality.

With attacking additions at Bayern this summer, one player’s time at the club appears to be over, and one Saudi Pro League side is interested.

Negotiations begin after Al Nassr submit bid for Bayern Munich attacker

According to reports, negotiations between Al-Nassr and Bayern for Kingsley Coman have begun after the Saudi side submitted their first bid for the Bayern attacker on Friday.

This would end a wonderful eight-year spell at the Bundesliga side.

Coman arrived at Bayern from Juventus on an initial two-year loan deal back in 2015, before making it permanent in 2017.

He has gone on to make 339 appearances for the club.

During this period, he has recorded 72 goals and 91 assists across all competitions.

Since joining the Bundesliga giants, he has won nine domestic titles.

This is in addition to winning the Champions League in the much-changed 2019/20 edition of the competition, scoring the winner in the final to beat his old side Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in the final.

This summer, Bayern added Luis Díaz from Liverpool for £65.5 million this summer.

Whilst Díaz and Coman play on different sides, this adds extra selection problems for Kompany.

At the age of 29, time could be up for the French international.

A move to Al Nassr would see him play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané in an exciting front three prospect.
