Paris Saint-Germain enjoyed another remarkable campaign under Luis Enrique. The French giants retained the Ligue 1 title and successfully defended the UEFA Champions League.
Their latest European triumph confirmed PSG’s place among the continent’s elite. The club has already started planning for another successful season.
PSG are working on several attacking changes as they reshape the squad. They have also entered the race for Ayyoub Bouaddi and continue monitoring other elite talents across Europe.
Several departures are also approaching. Gonçalo Ramos has left for AC Milan, while Lee Kang-In is expected to join Atlético Madrid. Randal Kolo Muani is also heading towards a permanent exit.
Those departures have forced PSG to search for new attacking options. According to TEAMtalk, PSG have identified Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi as their preferred replacement for Ramos.
The report adds that the European champions want to sign the Premier League youngster alongside Yan Diomande as they continue rebuilding Luis Enrique’s attack.
Kroupi has moved to the top of PSG’s shortlist after scoring 13 Premier League goals during his first season with Bournemouth.
Diomande also remains close to joining PSG after informing Liverpool that he prefers a move to Paris.
His expected arrival could trigger further changes in the attacking department, while Maghnes Akliouche is also closing in as Lee Kang-In’s replacement.
Bournemouth, however, do not want to lose Kroupi. Despite that stance, Kroupi is aware of PSG’s interest.
The Frenchman appreciates the scale of the project and the opportunity to work under Luis Enrique, even though he remains happy at Bournemouth.
PSG’s summer rebuild is gathering pace. Alongside their pursuit of Diomande, the European champions have now identified Kroupi as another priority target.
