Tottenham’s hunt for a new head coach is gathering pace.
After a tense few hours following the major decision of sacking Ange Postecoglou at board level, the club now seems closer than ever to naming its next manager.
It has been a whirlwind spell in North London. Despite securing European qualification, the club made a surprise call to part ways with their Australian manager.
Since then, the Spurs board, led by Daniel Levy, have quietly begun laying the groundwork for a new era, aiming to bring in someone who can not only stabilize the project, but push it forward with a bold and modern approach.
Two names have emerged from within the Premier League circle, both known for getting the best out of limited resources and building exciting, tactically sound teams.
These coaches have already impressed in recent meetings with Tottenham’s hierarchy, and both have shown serious interest in the position.
One has even begun informal talks with key figures at Spurs over what the next chapter could look like.
According to the latest update from Nicolo Schira, a clear front-runner has now emerged and he comes with a reputation for turning heads in England’s top flight.
The coach currently in pole position has built his Premier League side into a well-drilled, competitive outfit capable of troubling the division’s biggest names.
His mix of tactical structure and man-management skills has drawn praise across the league, and now Tottenham are hoping he can do the same in North London.
That favourite candidate to become the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur is Thomas Frank.
The Danish manager, currently in charge of Brentford, is now leading the race to take over at the North London club.
Fulham’s Marco Silva remains in contention, but Frank is believed to be the favoured choice at this stage.
Talks are ongoing, and while nothing has been signed yet, Spurs fans may not have to wait much longer for clarity on who will guide them into the 2025–26 season.
